An-Najah News - Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates Riyad al-Malki has reached out to the counterparts of several neighboring countries to mobilize financial and moral support for Palestine, in its ongoing emergency to contain the COVID-19 pandemic, the Foreign Ministry said in a statement today.

The ministry said the most important of these communications were held with the foreign ministers of Kuwait and Saudi Arabia, as well as the secretary-general of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) especially after the Islamic Development Bank announced the allocation of funds to support the action of member states against the spread of the pandemic.

Al-Malki also held talks with the foreign ministers of Spain and Belgium that discussed ways of assistance to the countries affected by the novel disease, including Palestine.
