An-Najah News - Nablus - The Secretary of the Executive Committee of the Palestinian Liberation Organization, Sa’eb Erekat, stated that the intensification of Israeli settlement activities we have been witnessing lately in the Jordan valley and the Dead Sea areas labels the start of implementation of the annexation and theft plan; “Theft of the Age”.

95% of the Jordan Valley lands have been occupied by the Israeli Occupation Forces, according to statistics published by The Negotiations Affairs Departments, and only 5% of the land is left for the Palestinians, who are about 55 thousand citizens, Erekat said.

In 2019, 4 new outposts and 110 settlements were built in the Jordan Valley, Erekat added.

Concerning water, the occupation authorities have taken control of 94% of water in Jordan Valley, and have stolen 100 thousand acres for Israeli settlers.

Erekat confirmed that the annexation of the Dead Sea area and the Jordan Valley is all part of Trump’s plan.
