An-Najah News - The E-Learning Centre at An-Najah National University obtained the renewal of the ISO 9001:2015 certification. The audit carried out via the Zoom platform to confirm the compliance with the standards and the efficacy of the Quality Management System of the E-Learning Center.

The E-Learning Centre's staff exceeded expectations by ‎successfully meeting the requirements of the ISO Quality Standards ‎and their commitment to continual improvement.‎

ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management System (QMS) is internationally recognized as the world’s leading quality management standard and has been implemented by over one million organizations in over 170 countries globally. ISO 9001 implemented, to its full potential, becomes an invaluable asset to the organization.

The purpose of the standard is to assist companies in meeting statutory and regulatory requirements relating to their product while achieving excellence in their customer service and delivery. The standard can be used throughout an organization to improve the performance or within a particular site, plant or department.

ISO 9001 contains eight key principles of quality management which is not auditable but do form the fundamental characteristics of quality management; namely, customer focus and customer satisfaction, leadership, the involvement of people, process approach, systematic approach to management, continual improvement, factual approach to decision making and mutually beneficial supplier relationship.

Prof. Natsheh congratulated the E-Learning Centre's staff and the Vice President for Planning, Development and Quality Assurance Office for ‎achieving this success and thanked them for their consistent efforts to ‎meet the requirements of the ISO Quality Standards and their ‎successful completion of the Renewal Audit to maintain its’ ISO ‎‎9001:2015 registration.‎
