An-Najah News - Three student projects of An-Najah National University won in the 2020 Global Competition on Design for Future Education (GCD4FE), which included four themes: Education in Crisis, Personalized Education, Special Education, and Rural Education.

The winners of the 2020 Global Competition on Design for Future Education were announced on Sunday, October 29, 2020 during the "International Webinar of 2020 Global Competition on Design for Future Education" online conference, which was held at Beijing Normal University.

The conference was attended by Prof. Maher Natsheh, the University's President, Dr. Saida Affouneh, Dean of the Faculty of Educational Sciences and Teachers Training at the University along with education experts from specialized international universities.

The competition aimed to raise awareness of all society on inclusive education in achieving the United Nation’s Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), solve critical educational issues that may be encountered due to emergencies or the complexity and uncertainty of education, and prepare adequate and effective solutions for future education from the perspectives of global college students.

The winning projects are: "Remote Lab" project for students Rami Al-Dahshan, Dina Hassoun, Abdullah Bishtawi, Muhannad Abu Zant, Marah Shabiri, and Anaghim Daraghmeh, " One Needs No Ear to Hear" project for students Muhammad Odeh, Yasmine Abu Mukh, Reham Salhab, Tamer Ashour, and Dia' Arafat, and " Teach and Reach" project for students Malak Tamimi, Muhammad Subaih, Yahya Antar, Eman Ibrahim, Salam Mahameed, and Aseel Omeira.

It is worth mentioning that the competition included teams from different Palestinian universities. The participating teams were supervised by the Faculty of Educational Sciences and Teachers Training at An-Najah University.
