An-Najah News - American scientists came to the conclusion that long-term breastfeeding helps improve the mental capacity of children.

According to the Russian Federal News Agency, scientists found that every additional month on breast milk increases children's mental performance.

The scientists explained that they carried out a study, in which 772 women participated, of whom 80% breastfeed their babies for a period of 4 months to a year. They noticed that the intelligence level of breastbed infants is higher.

The World Health Organization (WHO) recommends breastfeeding for at least 6 months.
