Russian doctor Inna Beachujina, head of the State Center for Health Care and Nutrition in Moscow, has warned that a lack of vitamin K can lead to an acceleration of the aging process.

With a lack of vitamin K, which is found in green foods, the protein interleukin in the body decreases, which causes problems in the immune system and accelerates aging of the body.

"This is the vitamin that prevents age-related phenomena," said Picujina.

She added, "This vitamin is necessary for the normal functioning of the kidneys, as it helps the interaction of calcium and vitamin D, which is important for the skeletal system and connective tissues. In addition, it is necessary for children for the growth of the skeleton and for protection against osteoporosis for the elderly."

There is a lot of vitamin K in green foods like spinach, lettuce, cabbage, and liver.
