An-Najah News -  American doctors have advised pregnant women to receive Coronavirus vaccine, despite the controversial thoughts about it.

The Vice President of Practice Activities at the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists, Dr. Christopher Zahn, said that regulatory bodies and health experts in the United States have stressed the need for pregnant women to receive the vaccine.

For his part, Dr. Richard Peggy, an expert in the Immunization and Infectious Diseases Group at the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists, advised pregnant women to receive the vaccine.

Biggie stressed that there is no theoretical reason to believe that the vaccine would cause harm to the mother or the fetus.

On Tuesday, the World Health Organization recommended that the "Moderna" vaccine  should not be used during pregnancy, unless the benefit of vaccination exceeds the potential risks of the vaccine.

But a maternal-fetal medicine specialist at Texas Children's Hospital, Dr. Kjersti Agard, indicated that there is no reasonable reason not to get the vaccine.
