An-Najah News - The British Health Service has indicated that frontal temporal dementia means behavior and language are the first victims.
“Many people with frontotemporal dementia experience a number of unusual behaviors that they do not realize,” the authority's website says.
As the site explains, repetitive behaviors, such as tinnitus, hand rubbing, and repeated compulsive behavior such as walking in the same pathway, may be a warning sign of prefrontal dementia.
“As the condition progresses, people with frontotemporal dementia may become socially isolated and introverted,” the site adds.
Other symptoms of the disease include major changes in social and personal behavior, including loss of self-control, apathy, and changes in eating habits, such as overeating or eating inedible things.
