An-Najah News - Nablus - Scientists have recently announced that a red rash may be a new sign of a possible infection with coronavirus - even if the patient has no other symptoms.

Signs of a deadly disease are known to include: persistent coughing, high temperature, and shortness of breath.

Scientists now say that a number of people who were diagnosed with corona had a rash that looked similar to frostbite and urticaria, and red dermatitis, according to the Daily Record report.

Other known symptoms reported include fatigue, eye pain, loss of taste and smell, and a feeling of tingling on the skin.

Scientists in France described the discovery of the rash as redness of the skin similar to urticaria or frostbite, according to the Daily Star.

The organization said that skin symptoms occurred in patients with or without respiratory symptoms.

“An analysis of several cases reported to SNDV shows that these symptoms can be associated with the new corona virus. We alert the general public and medical experts to detect these potentially contagious patients as quickly as possible,” a SNDV spokesperson said
