An-Najah News - Nablus – The effect of food on skin health and freshness is known. The skin of the body is like a mirror, reflecting its condition and health.

Skin care products mostly work on the surface of the skin without promoting healthy skin. A healthy diet provides the skin with vitality and health.

Dietitian Zain Jabareen talks about a healthy diet during quarantine, and generally, in An-Najah channel interview. She emphasized on drinking water because it directly affects the skin and the face, so we have to drink large quantities of 8-12 cups of lukewarm water every day. Avoid fries, sugars and starches, and stay away from butter oil and oils because they contain saturated fats

Eating vegetables and fruits works as an alternative, and they are also rich in vitamins that nourish the skin, such as vitamins D and E. Avocado and green tea are very beneficial, we can drink 1 to 3 cups of green tea per day, eat 3 to 5 grains of nuts to cover a large amount to fulfil our need for vitamin E, and add sunflower seed on salad.

Vitamin C strengthens immunity and has skin care benefits. It is possible to go for nutritional supplements to take the necessary quantities that we need.

Diversification of salads and appetizers to take a greater share of vitamins and nutrients is important to the body.

Flaxseed is very useful for people with constipation, and lentil salad is low in fat and contains vegetable proteins, with the addition of a little pomegranate, tomatoes, cucumbers, pomegranate molasses and lemon.

Potato salad and pasta are useful starches, especially if they are cold with parsley, which increases the beneficial bacteria in the body, which then leads to burning more fats and stronger immunity.

One last tip: drink low-fat milk and turmeric before bed which increases immunity and gives a wonderful freshness to the skin, and do a mask for your face that consists of banana, orange juice and two spoons of yogurt, giving the skin the benefits of Botox and Filler, and do it 3 times a week.
