An-Najah News - Agencies - Anna Niterboco, Juan Diego Flores, Jonas Kaufmann and other international stars participated in an Austrian party that was broadcast live to the homes of classical music lovers on Sunday night, while the European opera houses are still closed.

The singers, who are committed to strict measures to prevent the spread of corona virus, stepped up to the stage of the Radio Culture house in Vienna one by one, accompanied by a safe pianist and four string instruments from the Vienna Symphony Radio Orchestra.

Polish singer, Tomasz Konizny, used his singing paragraph to indicate that many of his colleagues faced months without getting any income due to the interruption of cultural life.

“It's time to show solidarity,” Konizni said, addressing his words to politicians and cultural officials.

Although the programme contains many operatic lyrics, many artists also chose to perform the emotional songs that are most appropriate for the place, and for the audience trapped inside the living rooms.
