An-Najah News - The latest global statistics announced on the Corona pandemic showed, on Sunday morning, that the number of deaths due to infection with the virus has reached about two million 231 thousand deaths.

 While the number of injured people is approaching 106 million and 350 thousand injuries, about 78 million and 131 thousand patients have recovered.

The Corona pandemic continues to spread in 219 countries, territories and regions around the world.

The statistics showed that the five countries that recorded the highest death toll in a single day in the world on Saturday were as the following USA (2,730 deaths), Mexico (1,368 deaths), Brazil (942 deaths), UK (828 deaths), and Russia (497 deaths).

The data showed that the five countries that recorded the highest number of new infected cases in the world yesterday within one day were, respectively, USA (105,983), Brazil (48,707), France (20,586), UK (18,262 injuries), and Russia (16,627).
