An-Najah News - Palestine today recorded 2,110 new Covid-19 cases and 31 deaths, according to Health Minister Mai al-Kaileh.
Al-Kaileh announced that 2,110 Palestinians tested positive for the virus and 31 others died of it in the West Bank and Gaza.
Among the 2,110 new cases, 1,243 cases were recorded in the West Bank, including Jerusalem governorate, and 867 others in the besieged Gaza Strip.
The West Bank cases were distributed as follows: 163 in Nablus governorate, 31 in Qalqilia, 33 in Salfit, 20 in Tubas, 85 in Bethlehem, 139 in Jenin, 81 in Tulkarm, 18 in Jericho, 156 in Hebron, 189 in Ramallah, 88 in Jerusalem suburbs besides to 240 in Jerusalem city.
Al-Kaileh identified the 31 deaths as 19 deaths from the West Bank, including Jerusalem, and 12 others from the Gaza Strip.
The West Bank deaths were distributed as follows: one in Nablus governorate, one in Qalqilia, one in Bethlehem, three in Jenin, one in Tulkarm, nine in Hebron besides to three in Jerusalem city.
She added that 1,823 Covid-19 patients recovered. The recovery cases included 1,243 cases in the West Bank and 580 others in the Gaza Strip.
The West Bank recovery cases were distributed as follows: 105 in Nablus governorate, 49 in Qalqilia, 37 in Tubas, 37 in Salfit, 128 in Jenin, 114 in Tulkarm, 17 in Jericho, 240 in Hebron, 280 in Ramallah and 236 in Jerusalem city.
She pointed that 119 Covid-19 patients are still hospitalized in intensive care units, including 29 who are connected to ventilators.
