An-Najah News - Twenty people have died of coronavirus in the West Bank and Gaza Strip in the last 24 hours, 1720 new cases were recorded and 1280 patients have recovered, today said Minister of Health Mai Alkaila. No data was available from East Jerusalem.

She said in her daily coronavirus report in Palestine that 10 of the deaths were in the West Bank, which recorded 1249 new cases most of them in Nablus district where 247 new cases were recorded, as well as in Hebron where also 247 cases were recorded. Jenin district had 199, Ramallah district had 196 new cases, Bethlehem 122, and Tulkarm 81. A total of 875 patients have recovered in the West Bank.

Gaza also had 10 deaths and 471 new cases, along with 405 recoveries, said the Minister.

A total of 76 patients are in intensive care, including 18 who are on respirators.
