An-Najah News - Minister of Health, Mai Al-Kaila, announced that 9 deaths, 1,558 new cases of Coronavirus, and 517 recoveries were recorded during the last 24 hours.

Al-Kailah added in the daily report on Corona virus in Palestine, Monday, that 5 deaths were recorded in the West Bank (4 citizens 58, 60, 72, 76 years old from Hebron governorate, and an 85-year-old citizen from Jericho), and 4 deaths in Gaza strip.

She indicated that the new cases were distributed as : Hebron Governorate (138), Nablus Governorate (178), Bethlehem Governorate (135), Qalqilya Governorate (56), Ramallah and Al-Bireh Governorate (84), Jenin (88), Jericho  ( 17), Salfit (53), Tulkarm (56), Tubas (30), the Gaza Strip (689), and the suburbs of Jerusalem (28).

With regard to recovery cases, the Minister of Health pointed out that 319 cases were registered in the West Bank (Hebron 25, Jenin 36, Nablus 109, Tulkarm 32, Salfit 14, Qalqilya 13, Ramallah and Al-Bireh 81, Jericho 9), Gaza Strip 198.

Al-kaila declared that the rate of recovery from the virus in Palestine reached 83.4%, while the rate of active infections reached 15.8%, and the death rate was 0.8% of all infections.
