An-Najah News - The head of public health services at the Israeli Ministry of Health, Professor Siegel Saditsky, today, Tuesday, has resigned from her post.

She said in a post on her Facebook page that “Israel” has been heading for a dangerous place in recent weeks.

"Over time, we have moved from professionals who respond to events effectively to officials without powers, who respond late to developments," Saditsky added.

She pointed out that, "Regrettably, this change was accompanied by a tangible disregard for the  spread of coronavirus that were monitored and with regard to the significance of the decisions taken. While it was announced in the first statements that the decisions will change and the steps will be subject to the impact of field, but  when it came to implementation the progress of opening economic won , although the virus was spreading  rapidly and  the situation was getting more dangerous".

Saditsky is an expert in cancer and radiation epidemics, and she began practicing her position a year ago. Before  that, she worked as a researcher at the Gartner Institute and academic lecturer.
