An-Najah News - Nablus - Palestine confirmed today 280 new cases of coronavirus in the West Bank, bringing the overall total in Palestine to 3045, said Minister of Health Mai Al-kaila in a statement.

She said: 280 cases were confirmed in West Bank governorates,as the following: 199 in Hebron governorate, 47 in Bethlehem, 17 in Nablus, 4 in Tulkarem, 3 in Jericho and 10 in Ramallah and AL-Bireh governorate.

The Health Minister pointed out  the latest figures raises the total number confirmed since the outbreak of the pandemic in Palestine to 3045, of which 2400 are still active, 634 recovered and 11 patients were moved to the intensive care, and 3 cases are attached to respirators as they are in a critical condition.

 11 cases have died of the disease in Palestine since the 5th of March, and 9 recovered were confirmed in Al- Thahriya district in Hebron Governorate.
