An-Najah News - Palestine Wednesday overnight confirmed two COVID-19 death cases, raising the total death toll in the occupied territories to 11.
Spokesman for the Health Ministry, Kamal Shakhra, announced in a press release that a Palestinian patient, in his 70s, from Taffuh town, west of the southern West Bank city of Hebron, died due to the novel coronavirus.
Earlier Tuesday, the ministry confirmed that a woman, in her 60s, also died due to the virus in Hebron city.
She contracted the virus after getting in contact with her son, 44, who succumbed to the pandemic yesterday.
According to the latest coronavirus data, confirmed coronavirus cases has increased in the occupied territories to 2,765 since the pandemic outbreak.
