An-Najah News - The most recent international statistics about COVID-19 showed that the virus killed 251,478 people from all over the world. While the total number of confirmed infections globally reached 3,633,768, among them, more than 1,185,000 recoveries.
The U.S still takes the biggest share since it announced on Monday 784 new deaths up to this moment which makes the total number of deaths; 69,382 with 1,207,972 infections, among them, 19,850 newly discovered infections up to this moment.
In the second place comes Italy, with 29,079 deaths and the third comes the UK which recorded 288 new deaths today, thus the total number of deaths becomes 28,734.
In the fourth place comes Spain, with 25,428 deaths, among them, 164 were recorded on Monday.
After Spain comes France with a death toll that reached 25,201, among them, 306 on Monday. Along with,169,462 infections, among them, 769 were recorded within the last 24 hours.
About Belgium, it comes in the sixth place globally since it recorded 7,924 deaths, among them 80 were recorded on Monday and a total number of infections that reached 50,267, among them, 361 were recorded within the last 24 hours. After Belgium comes Brazil interms of the number of deaths.
Germany, however, levelled down to the eighth place with 6,925 deaths.
Iran that takes the nineth place has a total number of deaths the reached 6,277, among them, 74 recorded on Monday.
While Holland still ranks the tenth place with a total death toll of 5,082.
China, the epicenter of coronavirus, keeps its place and takes the eleventh place, with a total number of deaths that reached 4,633 without recording any new deaths recently.
In the twelfth place comes Canada, as it recorded 160 deaths on Monday.
On the level of Arab countries in the Middle East, 8 countries announced new deaths on Monday; Arab Emirates, Somalia, Saudi Arabia, Egypt, Morocco, Kuwait, Algeria, and Iraq. While 9 other Arab countries recorded new infections.
As Emirates recorded 11 deaths which makes the total number of deaths, 137, with 567 new confirmed cases.
Saudi Arabia recorded 7 new deaths out of a total number of 191 till now and announced 1,645 new cases which makes the total number of infections spike to 28,656.
Egypt confirmed new 7 deaths out of a total of 436 till this moment, with 348 new cases to make the total number of infections increase to 6,813.
Morocco recorded 5 new deaths which make the total number of deaths 179.
Somalia recorded 3 new deaths among a total of 35, along with recording 34 new infections out of a total of 756.
Kuwait recorded two deaths which rises the deaths toll to 40, along with 292 new cases out of a total of 5,278.
Algeria also, recorded 2 deaths which rise the death toll to 465.
Iraq, on the other hand, confirmed one new death out of 98, while the number of total infections spiked to 2,346 after recording 50 new infections.
