An-Najah News - The Egyptian President, Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, issued Resolution No. 168 of 2020 declaring a state of emergency in Egypt for a period of three months, as of 1 am today, Tuesday, 28th of April.

The official newspaper published today the President al-Sisi’s resolution, and explained that the decision came after taking the opinion of the Egyptian Council of Ministers, and in view of the dangerous security and health conditions that the country is going through.

Whereas the second article of the decision stipulated that the armed forces and the police force shall take the necessary measures to confront the dangers and financing of terrorism, maintain security in all parts of the country, protect public and private property, and save the lives of citizens.
