As for the number of people infected in the United States, it totaled 429,052 on Wednesday evening, after it was confirmed in the last 24 hours that an additional 32,819 people were infected with the virus (compared to 29,609 new infections the previous day). As for deaths due to the virus, Italy ranks first in the world with 17,669 deaths, while Britain recorded more than 930 new deaths, which is the highest number of daily deaths recorded by the country, bringing the total to more than 7,000 deaths.
In Sweden, 96 new deaths were recorded during the last 24 hours, in addition to 726 new infections, while in Norway, 147 new cases of coronavirus were recorded, bringing the number to 6,010. As for India, it announced today, Thursday, that the number of deaths due to the spread of the coronavirus has increased to 166, while the number of infections has increased to 5,734 cases. In Mexico, the Mexican Ministry of Health announced the registration of 396 new cases of coronavirus yesterday, bringing the total number of infections to 3,181, in addition to 174 deaths.
