According to Hopkins University of America, about 17 countries have not reported any cases of the coronavirus since it began spreading to the world three months ago.
These countries are: 4 Asian countries, 3 African countries, in addition to 10 countries in Oceania, which is a region concentrated in the equatorial Pacific Islands, according to a report recently published by the American magazine Newsweek.
The Asian countries free from corona are Yemen (the only Arab country), North Korea, Tajikistan, and Turkmenistan.
As for the African countries, they are the Kingdom of Lesotho, Comoros, Sao Tome and Principe.
The countries of Oceania included "the Solomon Islands, the Republic of Nauru, the Republic of Vanuatu, the State of Samoa, the Republic of Kiribati, the Federated States of Micronesia, the Kingdom of Tonga, and the Republic of the Marshall Islands, the Republic of Palau and the State of Tuvalu"
And attributed the "Newsweek" the virus not spreading in North Korea, which is located on the borders of China and South Korea, is because it is one of the first countries in the world that started to close its borders and put other intensive measures to combat the pandemic and to prevent the spread of the virus.
Also, countries that have not been infected with the virus are mostly small islands, and their visitors are actually few. The distance of the sites of these countries (which are originally islands in the ocean) makes them self-isolated in the first place, when applying the rules of social divergence to them.
