An-Najah News - Riyadh – The G20 summit held in Riyadh headed by the king of Saudi Arabia Salman Bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, concluded studying pumping 5 trillion US Dollars to face the coronavirus outbreak.
The group leaders emphasized their readiness to respond promptly, and to take any additional action if needed, including convening the summit again if necessary.
In a statement issued last night, the leaders stressed the priority of confronting the coronavirus and its health, economic and social impacts, and pledged to bridge the deficit in the WHO plan to fight coronavirus.
They confirmed that they will provide the developing countries with the support they need to deal with the coronavirus and the measures taken effects.
The statement added: "we call on all these organizations to intensify coordination among each other, including with the private sector, to support emerging and developing countries facing health, economic and social issues, due to the COVID-19 outbreak.
