An-Najah News - A study in Wuhan found that many of the coronavirus infected people had digestive problems such as diarrhea, vomiting, and loss of appetite.
Most patients also experienced respiratory problems, like trouble breathing and a dry cough.
The study also found that as the severity of the disease increases, digestive issues also worsen.
The researchers said: “having digestive symptoms is common in COVID-19 patients.”
Dr Brennan Spiegel, Professor of Medicine and Public Health at UCLA and co-editor of the journal the study was published in, said: “digestive symptoms could lead to earlier diagnosis of COVID-19, which will lead to earlier treatment.”
