An-Najah News - Ramallah – Najah News – Akram Khatib, the Deputy Attorney General, requests all civilians to follow the guidelines, especially the ones concerning the quarantine procedures that were issued by the Ministry of Health and the competent authorities, subject to liability.

The deputy warned anyone that breakouts from quarantine or contravenes the guidelines will be held accountable for their actions and will be subject to legal prosecution and criminal responsibility, in accordance with Public Health Act No. 20 2004 and its amendments, and based on provisions of Act No. 81 which states that β€œany individual breaking the law shall be detained for at least one year or pay a financial penalty not less than one thousand Jordanian Dinars, and not more than five thousand Jordanian Dinars or equivalent, or both.”
