An-Najah News - Health ministry official of Indonesia Achmad Yurianto confirmed 380 new coronavirus infections, taking the total   to 5,516.

Yurianto reported 27 new deaths, taking the total to 496, while 548 have recovered. Almost 40,000 tests have been performed.

Patients suspected of carrying the virus symptoms reached more than 11,800 people.

Since 31 December 2019 and as of 16 April 2020, 2 029 930 cases of COVID-19 (in accordance with the applied case definitions and testing strategies in the affected countries) have been reported, including 136 320 deaths.
