An-Najah News - A recent medical study has warned that taking asthma and hay fever medications in particular can worsen the complications of coronavirus.

“The allergy medications that contain steroids can inhibit the body's ability to fight the corona virus,” said virologist epidemiologist Daniel Jeffrin at Columbia University.

“I am afraid that taking these drugs at some point will frustrate the body's ability to prevent the proliferation of viruses,” he added.

The COVID-19 virus is known to attack all the body's vital systems, especially the lungs, the heart and brain, so scientists are advised to strengthen the body's immune system in order to increase the ability to fight this disease.
