An-Najah News - Agencies – A report from the National Center for Auditing and Research in Britain revealed that men represent 73% of patients who enter the intensive care unit because of serious diseases.
Information has been gathered on the incidence of corona virus in a large number of males and females, and it has been established that the numbers of infected males and females are approximately equal in 18 countries, but the number of deaths among males is much more than that of females.
Experts said it could be the difference of men’s and women’s lifestyles, as men smoke more than women. They also presented the possibility that men are weaker against viruses, and others said it could be the unhealthy lifestyle that men follow.
These behavioral differences are important between the genders, and they have a major impact on the consequences of coronavirus infection, says immunology professor Philip Golder of Oxford University.
