An-Najah News - Nablus - Dr. Hussam Zamalt, the Palestinian ambassador to the United Kingdom, confirmed that the Palestinian community has not recorded any deaths in UK as a result of the pandemic of Corona virus, while dozens of cases of corona virus were recorded among the Palestinian community, and there are two cases on their way to recovery.

Ambassador Zamelat said that the situation in UK in general is very difficult, as 1000 cases have been registered in the past days.

Ambassador Zamelat said in an interview with An-Najah channel: “In Britain, there is no test for Corona virus except for those who are hospitalized, and it is difficult for us to make sure that whoever has symptoms of the flu like he is infected with the Corona virus, pointing out that it was done during the previous days and weeks, I contacted Palestinian families and told us that they had been exposed to a healthy illness similar to the flu, some heat and a cough.”

Zamelat stressed that many things are being discussed, as this moment is crucial, and we want to employ our international relations in order to enable our people to fight the virus, as Britain was one of the leading countries to support Palestine financially and informatively and we are in contact with medical organizations and there is a large amount from medical aid on its way to Palestine.
