An-Najah News - Agencies - The Italian Health Authorities said today, Wednesday, a record number of people have recovered from the coronavirus in the country.

“In the past 10 days, we have registered 50% of those who have recovered since the start of the emergency,” declared the head of the civil defense, Angelo Borelli, at a daily press conference.

Borelli said there were 542 deaths in the past 24 hours, taking the overall number to 17,669 deaths across the country.

“However, the number of people recovering is also increasing, and with 2099 people recovering in one day, their total has reached 26,491, so a new record has been set today,” he added
