An-Najah News - An international team of scientists at the Beijing Medical Center revealed that the coronavirus lives in the body of half of the people who recovered from Covid-19, from one to eight days, even after all symptoms have disappeared.
So, scientists argue that it is necessary to extend the quarantine period for those who have recovered from coronavirus infection for a week or two, according to ATS.
The specialists analyzed data from 16 patients, with an average age of 35.5 years, who were treated from January 28 to February 9, 2020. All had recovered from the disease.
Lukesh Sharma, the study's lung pathologist, said that the average incubation period was five days, and everyone had fever, cough, sore throat, and shortness of breath.
