An-Najah News - The Palestinian Ministry of Health, Mai Al-Kaileh, revealed, Tuesday, the start of providing the third dose of the Corona vaccine to the target groups, noting that 52 cases of the virus were recorded among the medical staff.

Al-Kaileh said in statements to Palestine TV that the ministry does not want to close schools and universities, but it may be forced to do so.

She said, "We have recorded 1,471 cases of coronavirus among school students and 210 among educational staff. This is a small number compared to their numbers."

She explained that 90% of the new infections with the Corona virus are from the Delta mutant.

The minister pointed out that the total number of people who received the vaccine is 1,150,913, including 477,125 who received the two doses of the vaccine,” noting that next week the process of vaccinating the targeted students in schools will end.

Palestinian Health Minister noted that 150,000 doses of the Corona vaccine will be sent next Thursday to the Gaza Strip.

It is noteworthy that the Palestinian Ministry of Health announced the registration of 11 deaths, and 2,762 infections with the Corona virus in the West Bank and Gaza Strip during the past 24 hours.
