An-Najah News - A recent scientific study has revealed of what could be happened for children’s brain who got infected with “COVID- 19”  

The study published in the American "New York Times" newspaper found that half of the children with inflammatory conditions linked to "Corona" suffered from serious neurological problems, ranging from hallucinations, to brain tissue damage.

The experts observed the records of more than 46 children under the age of 18 years, who were diagnosed with Multisystem Inflammatory Syndrome (MIS-C) in related to get infected with "Covid 19”.

At this medical condition, various parts of the body become inflamed, but the most dangerous are the inflammations in the brain.

The results of the study showed that 24 of the children suffered severe neurological symptoms, ranging from headaches to brain damage, then hallucinations and ataxia.

The study called for the need to monitor the health status of children with "Covid 19", because their condition can develop very quickly into serious neurological conditions, especially in the central nervous system and the peripheral nervous system.

It is noteworthy that most of the children who develop Multisystem Inflammatory Syndrome (MIS-C) will have it after two or 4 weeks of infection with the emerging corona virus.
