An-Najah News - The Minister of Health, Dr. May Al-Kailah, today, Sunday, announced that 16 deaths were recorded in the West Bank due to COVID-19 as the following: “Qalqilya 1, the suburbs of Jerusalem 1, Hebron 2, Nablus 2, Jericho 1, Salfit 5, Tulkarm 1, Ramallah 1, Bethlehem 1, Tubas 1”, Gaza Strip one death, the city of Jerusalem 6 deaths.

She indicated that the new infections were recorded in the following areas: “Qalqilya 70, the suburbs of Jerusalem 103, Hebron 353, Nablus 197, Jericho and Al-Aghwar 41, Salfit 72, Tulkarm 103, Ramallah and Al-Bireh 449, Bethlehem 128, Jenin 70, Tubas 29”. Gaza Strip 88, Jerusalem 208.

It stated that the rate of recovery from the Corona virus in Palestine reached 90.8%, while the rate of active infections reached 8.1%, and the death rate was 1.1% of all infections.

She added that the new recovery cases were divided according to the following: “Qalqilya 49, the suburbs of Jerusalem 0, Hebron 27, Nablus 48, Jericho and Al-Aghwar 16, Salfit 117, Tulkarm 30, Ramallah and Al-Bireh 285, Bethlehem 115, Jenin 21, Tubas 9”, Sector Gaza 100, Jerusalem 136.

The Minister of Health indicated that there are 117 cases in the intensive care rooms, including 26 patients on artificial respirators
