An-Najah News - A former Mercedes-Benz employee in Spain destroyed 50 cars costs 5 million pounds, according to Spanish police on Monday.

The police arrested the man after driving a stolen bulldozer where he destroyed the 50 cars. The police stated in a statement that the worker 38, drove a bulldozer that he had stolen from a construction site for a distance of more than 25 kilometers towards the industrial zone in Victoria, the capital of the Basque Country in northern Spain."

They said:  "The accused man had worked at the Mercedes-Benz site between 2016 and 2017."

They indicated that one of the security guards had to fire warning shots in the air to force the man to stop his "attack" until the police arrived.

The police noted that the incident was a "work-related attack."

A police spokesman in Erziantza said, "There are about 50 damaged vehicles," while local reports refer to "69 vehicles."

According to local sources, among the cars affected were the "Mercedes-Benz", the fifth category, worth about 90 thousand pounds, and the new "eVitos".
