You are invited to apply for a full-time Research Assistant as part of the “Young People’s Experience of House Demolition in the West Bank” project. You will be responsible for preparing policy papers and briefs, analyzing data and drawing conclusions, preparing progress reports for the project, and attending project meetings. The principal investigators are Northumbria University.
The aim of this project is to understand the kinds of agencies that emerge through young Palestinians’ experiences of demolitions and how this impacts their capacities to cope with violence, maintain dignity and build sustainable development for Palestinians.
You should have a Master's degree in psychology or human rights, full professional proficiency in English, and excellent knowledge in writing policy papers, briefs, and reports. Having excellent skills in analysis, research, and communication is highly desirable and a minimum of three years of work experience related to the field of research is also favorable.
