An-Najah News - Seven people have died of coronavirus in Palestine, and 976 others were infected by the disease, said Minister of Health Mai Alkaila.

The minister added that 864 new cases announced in the West Bank in the last 24 hours and 112 in Jerusalem in the last 72 hours and in same time 585 have recovered.

In her daily report on the coronavirus situation development , Alkaila said five people, aged 83, 80, 72, 64, 46, have died of the novel virus in the West Bank, in addition to two others, aged 69 and 78 in the Gaza Strip.

The distribution of the new infections as Alkaila declared were 54 cases were registered in Hebron, 144 in Nablus, 26 in Bethlehem, 27 in Qalqilia, 78 in Ramallah, 45 in Jenin, 18 in Jericho, 8 in Salfit, 37 in Tulkarm, and 8 in Tubas.
