An-Najah News - An-Najah National University has delivered a device to the Ministry of Health to be used for tests for Coronavirus

Dr. said. Maan Shteiwi, Dean of the Faculty of Science at An-Najah National University: “Since the declaration of the state of emergency, and based on the directives of the university’s board of trustees and management, we are committed to providing service to the local community, and the stage we are going through requires us to be up to the responsibility, and as a university our primary goal is to serve the local community ".

He added during a press conference at An-Najah University: "The Ministry of Health is making a great effort regarding the Corona virus, and we have an advanced device in the university that serves tests for Corona virus, and we hope that this device will help relieve pressure and help the Ministry of Health."

He continued: "The device is provided to the Ministry of Health, and our staff is also ready to help."

The Deputy Governor of Nablus Governorate, Anan Al-Atira, thanked Al-Najah University and University Hospital for donating this device to the Ministry of Health and she stressed that we will be able to control the Corona virus, and to overcome this critical stage.

Al-Atira praised the role of the Media Center and its active participation in the Media Committee that was formed at the level of Nablus Governorate, as well as the initiative it presented regarding media reports which aims to transfer accurate information to the citizen in light of the rumors circulating about Corona.

It is noteworthy that the device was delivered in the presence of the Dean of the  faculty of Science, Dr. Maan Shteiwi, the Deputy Governor of Nablus Governorate Anan Al-Atireh, the Director of the Media Center at An-Najah National University A. Ghazi Murtaja, the Director of Nablus Health Dr. Ramiz Dweikat, and various media outlets.
