An-Najah News - During a meeting in Ramallah prime Minister Mohammed Shtayyeh discussed the latest political developments with the German Minister of State at the Federal Foreign Office, Niels Annen.

 Shtayyeh  praised German’s position in rejection of the Israeli annexation plans and in support of the two-state solution,calling on Germany to play a role in breaking the status quo through a serious political track.

He also stressed on the solid international and Arab position and the will of the Palestinian leadership and people are what thwarted the Israeli annexation plans.

He said that even if annexation stops, we will not allow the continuation of the status quo.

For his part, the German minister of state affirmed his country’s continued support to the two-state solution and standing on the side of international law and resolutions.
