An-Najah News - The Palestinian Ministry of Health announced the registration of 596 new cases of coronavirus, 3 deaths and 1,270 new recoveries during the last 24 hours in Palestine, while the city of occupied Jerusalem is witnessing a rapid increase in the number of people infected.

The ministry added in its daily report, Thursday, that 306 infected cases were recorded in Jerusalem governorate, 32 cases in Ramallah and Al-Bireh governorates, 167 cases in Hebron governorate, two cases in Tulkarm governorate, 15 cases in Bethlehem governorate, 6 cases in Salfit governorate, two cases in Jenin Governorate, 48 cases in Nablus Governorate, 10 cases in Jericho, 5 cases in Qalqilya Governorate, 3 cases in Tubas Governorate.

The ministry added: In the last 24 hours, 3 deaths were recorded in Hebron governorate, while the number of recovery cases reached 1270, including 700 cases recorded in Hebron governorate, 500 in the city of Jerusalem, 46 in Bethlehem governorate, 21 in Nablus governorate, and 3 in Jenin governorate.

The Ministry of Health indicated that there are 16 cases in intensive care rooms, 5 of which are connected on respirators.
