An-Najah News - Salwa Shaath, a Palestinian girl from Gaza Strip, was participating in a ceremony, and cried when her father’s name was mentioned in a ceremony honoring the excellent students for 2020 at Tawjihi exams, who was killed by the Israeli occupation during the Israeli attack on Gaza in 2014.  Salma could not hide her tears. The feeling of how painful Salwa was so obvious and shows the real image of the Israeli occupation and the occupation could not hide his crime.

Salwa, the daughter of the martyr Muhammad Shaath, said, "When they said the name of my martyred father, I was shocked, I miss him and I am proud of him, so I started crying."

"Once we walked at the yard of our house, my father told me, Salwa go and irrigate the tree” “This is the only thing that I remember with my father." She added.

Salwa longs for her father and for calling him daddy as other children. She wishes she could have hugged him or accompany her on the way to her school.
