An-Najah News - British government confirmed its opposition to Israeli annexation of occupied Palestinian territory and support for international law, in a phone call between British Prime Minister Boris Johnson and President Mahmoud Abbas.

President Abbas briefed him on the latest political developments, particularly the Israeli annexation plans. He also expressed appreciation for Britain's support for peace based on international legality and its opposition to the annexation of Palestinian territories.

British Prime Minister affirmed his country's position, as stated in the British Parliament and in his article, in support of achieving peace on the basis of the two-state solution, commitment to implementing UN resolutions, stressing also the importance of reviving the peace process.
