An-Najah News - Nablus -The Governor of Nablus Governorate, Ibrahim Ramadan, today, directed  the Palestinian security services to implement the lockdown and the prevention of citizens’ movement e in light of the rapid spread of the Corona virus.

 He announced  that the number of confirmed cases in Nablus reached 142 and  it is increasing, pointing out that 17 citizens were arrested, who violated the instructions, shops were closed and 60 cars were withheld, they were released in exchange for signing pledges not to repeat this violation and adhere to the declared measures, otherwise they will be punished.

He said that the movement of public officials will be allowed individually, only today, Thursday, 2-7-2020 from two o'clock in the afternoon until eight in the evening to allow them to withdraw their salaries from ATMs, and grocery stores will also be allowed to open their doors at the same time only to allow them to purchase Basic needs .

He pointed to the rapid increase in the number of cases in the Hebron Governorate, where it reached about 1900 cases, despite the great effort being made to overcome the spread of the epidemic.

He added that these measures that were applied in Hebron and Nablus are an attempt to control the epidemiological situation and prevent the spread of the disease, which are exceptional measures that the Prime Minister assigned to each of the two governorates.

Ramadan called on people to adhere to preventive measures, and thanked the security services for their efforts in protecting people and following up on the instructions
