An-Najah News - Algerian researcher Belkacem Habba has obtained 1,500 patents, including 500 registered in the United States of America, according to the Algerian newspaper, "An-Nahar".

 

The US embassy said in a post on its Facebook page: "Congratulations to the son of Al-Wadi state, the famous inventor, Belkacem Habba, for registering patent number 1500."

 

She added: "Dr. Belkacem obtained a bachelor degree from the University of Bab Al-Zuwar and then two master's and doctorate degrees in the field of materials science and engineering from Stanford University."

 

"Among the many awards Dr. Belkacem has received is that he is ranked among the 100 most productive inventors globally, according to R&DV magazine in 2012. Algeria and the United States are proud of Dr. Belkacem."

 

It is worth noting that the researcher Belkacem Habba was born in 1957 in the moderator of the Algerian state of Wadi Souf, and received a scholarship from Stanford University in California, in which he obtained a master’s degree in applied physics, as well as two degrees in material science and a doctorate in solar energy.
