An-Najah News - Nablus - At least seven people were killed in two separate explosions in southern and central Somalia during the past 24 hours.
Two bombs planted in front of the house of a military official exploded in the town of Wenlwin, 90 km northwest of the capital, Mogadishu, late Saturday, killing five people, including soldiers and civilians. No claim of responsibility has yet been made for the attack.
In the same context, three gunmen in a car today, Sunday, carried out an attack on a military checkpoint in the town of Pakadwin, in the state of Glamdag, central Somalia.
The soldiers shot the car after its passengers ignored the stop orders, and three soldiers were killed in the attack, and two others were wounded, according to a local security official.
