The Minister of Health Mai Alkaila said late Sunday that 8 new coronavirus infections were recorded in Halhul in Hebron Governorate, including 3 children, from contact with a bus driver with Israeli identity.

According to the Minister of Health the total number who have tested positive for the virus so far in Palestine stood at 651, including 232 in the West Bank, 293 in Occupied East Jerusalem and 41 in the Gaza Strip.

Additionally, 558 people in Palestine have recovered, which is 86.8 percent of the total.

Alkaila added that 97 people were placed in home quarantine during the past 24 hours, bringing the total number of people quarantined to 2538.

The total number of confirmed COVID-19 cases among Palestinians in the Diaspora has reached 1,855 with 121 deaths, according to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates.In addition, 1,033 have recovered.
