An-Najah News - The Palestinian Ministry of Health announced, this evening, Wednesday, that it recorded 7 new cases of Corona virus in Gaza Strip, raising the total number of cases of the virus to 577 since the virus began to appear in Palestine.

Gaza health spokesman, Ashraf al-Qidra, said in a press conference about the developments in the health conditions and the Corona virus in Gaza Strip that the total number of cases registered with the Corona virus in the Gaza Strip is 30 cases since last March, 16 of them recovered and 14 cases are still under treatment in the isolation hospital.

Al-Qudra pointed out that the health institutions of the government are following all precautions to confront the Corona virus in Gaza Strip, noting that the ministry is following up on 1630 patients inside 16 quarantine centers around the clock.

He stressed that the central laboratory is still conducting the laboratory examination of hundreds of samples that were pulled from the patients who tested positive for corona inside the quarantine centers.

He added that the possibility of the emergence of cases infected with the Corona virus within the Gaza Strip remains even with taking all precautionary measures, and that the risk of the virus will remain present and strong unless a vaccine, treatment or change in the behavior of the virus is reached.
