An-Najah News - Saudi Arabia announced, Wednesday, that it recorded a new high confirmed infections number with coronavirus, as this rate reached 1687 cases, with the largest increase in the number of the recovered.

A spokesman for the Saudi Ministry of Health, Mohamed Al-Abd Al-Aali, stated during a press conference that 1687 new confirmed cases of Corona virus were detected, bringing the total number of infected people to 31,938 people, 27% of Saudis and 73% of non-Saudis.

Al-Abd Al-Ali pointed out that 20% of the new cases were recorded in females and 80% in males.

He mentioned that 24946 of the recorded cases are considered active, 137 of which are considered critical.

The health ministry’s official reported recording 9 new deaths caused by the disease, after this rate was at the level of 8 cases on May 3, 7 cases on May 4, and 9 cases on May 5, bringing the number of corona virus victims in the kingdom to 209 deaths.
