An-Najah News - Nablus - The latest announced global statistics on the emerging corona pandemic “COVID-19" showed that the virus has killed 211,032 people in the world and the number of the declared infections exceeded 3 million, and more than 917,000 patients recovered.
On the Arab countries level, 15 countries announced yesterday, Monday, the death of 46 people affected by the virus, and the discovery of 3,640 new confirmed cases.
This is an increase from Sunday’s death toll of 37 deaths, and a slight retreat from yesterday’s death toll, which recorded 3,681 new infections in 16 countries.
The Corona pandemic continues to spread in 210 countries, territories and regions around the world, as on Monday, more than 62,000 new infections were discovered, and during the past 24 hours, 4,117 deaths have occurred.
While the United States of America is still recording the largest part of them, as it announced Monday about 1,082 deaths until the moment, bringing the number of deaths to 56,495 people.
Italy also continues to maintain its second position in the world in terms of deaths, totaling 26,977 and Spain maintains its third place, registering a death toll of 23,521 people.
Spain is followed by France, which continues to settle in fourth place with a total of 23,293 deaths, and Belgium comes in sixth place with a death toll of 7,207 cases.
China, which is the center of the beginning of the global pandemic outbreak, is still settling in the ninth place, recording the death of 4,633 people, including one person’s death on Monday.
In the Middle East, Turkey is still 12th in the world, registering a death toll of 2,900 people, including 95 Monday, and 112,261 infections, including 2,131 the last 24 hours.
On the level of Arab countries, statistics showed that 9 Arab countries announced two new deaths in corona virus: Egypt, Algeria, the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Somalia, Kuwait, Morocco, Iraq and Sudan, while 6 other Arab countries recorded new confirmed infections.
At the level of Arab countries that recorded new infections; Qatar announced 957 new infections out of a total of 11,244 cases in the country so far, and 10 deaths were recorded since the virus was discovered to date, while Jordan announced the discovery of two cases, bringing the total number of cases in the Kingdom to 449, 7 of whom died.
