An-Najah News - Agencies - The number of coronavirus deaths in the UK has crossed the 20,732 mark, after 413 new deaths were recorded.

At a press conference, the British Environment Minister, George Eustis, warned that the number of corona infections has increased to 152,840, after recording 4,436 new cases.

The minister pointed out, “The number of infections in the country has gradually decreased.”

He confirmed that Prime Minister Boris Johnson will resume his job as prime minister tomorrow, Monday, warning at the same time against lifting the measures currently imposed on the seriousness of the situation.

Britain ranks fifth in the list of corona deaths globally, after the United States, Italy, Spain and France, while it ranks sixth in infections after the United States, Spain, Italy, France and Germany.

As of Sunday evening, the number of people infected with the virus exceeded two million and 971 thousand worldwide, of whom more than 205 thousand had died, while more than 873 thousand had recovered, according to “worldometer”.
